Monarjonban (shaking Minarets)

Monarjonban is Abu Abdollah's tomb which was built in 1316. Because of the ratio between the height and width of the minarets, if one minaret is shaken, the other will shake as well.

Monarjonban is structured based on Mughal architecture.

One of the most historic structures in the world-famous city of Isfahan, Monar Jonban.

The building with an area of 146 square meters and a height seven and a half meters from the roof top and of course the height of the roof and the floor is 10 and a half meters.

In the past visitors can freely go in and try to shake the top of the minaret but nowadays one of the guides who know the amount of force necessary to shake the minaret would go up shake the minarets so that visitors can see it flying at the same time, this way the potential damage to the building would be prevented.

The structure of the organization in terms of size and adornment facade of this minaret is considered one of the architectural masterpieces.

Materials used in the brick and plaster and minaret is also a bricklayer.

The minaret belongs to the Timurid era and its other name was burned dad mosque.
